Bullying is when someone is being mean or hurtful to another person who has a hard time defending him/herself. It is directed towards a specific student by someone with more power and is intended to cause, harm, distress and/or create fear.

Honesty is when we are truthful in what we say and do. It means people can rely on us because we have integrity. Honesty is the basis of a trusting relationship. For middle schoolers, honesty looks like responding truthfully when asked about a situation and sharing important information with trusted adults.
