Examples: This is a great question to discuss what "mistakes" you might have made and what you have learned from the outcome.

How do you define success?
Example: This is very subjective. One person's definition of success may not look like another person's. Be honest, and again, relate your definition to the success you have had in high school and how you will apply it to your future. This is also a great time to explain your plan for the future and your life goals, and how you plan to obtain them.

You must have 30 hours of community service from a Non-Profit organization.

What are your plans following graduation (goals).

What things can you elaborate on to describe how your education contributed to who you are today?
Classes, skills and training you have or have taken part of that have helped shaped you as an individual.

What are your strengths and weaknesses?
Example: Be honest. When discussing these, elaborate how both have helped shape the person you are today, and what strategies you have or will be taking to break those bad habits.

Example: This is your time to brag. Talk about your achievement and what it meant to you.

Examples: Active listener, able to negotiate/resolve differences, collaborative, works well with others, resourceful, critical thinking skills, attentive to detail, effective project management, punctual, (language) fluency, adaptability, strong work ethic, creativity, self-confidence, automotive repair, etc.

Clubs, sports, church, search and rescue, work, volunteer work etc. are good examples of different activities.

Example: Talk about your community service experience. Even if you didn't enjoy it, tell the panel why and relate it back to how it helped you figure out the things you don't want to do as a career, and if you learned any strengths or weaknesses from the experience.

Example: Discuss how high school has helped you figure out what path you would like to take once you graduate.

Example: Talk about someone from school or at home that has helped you develop as a person, and support that with details/examples. It would even be okay if you used someone as an example of what not to do. But try and stay positive.

Example: This question is subjective. Give the panel a glimpse at what your dream job looks like. What are responsibilities? What daily tasks do you perform? What does the career revolve around?

List awards/recognition you have received as well as sports and/or clubs in which you participate.

When sharing your career goals, what do you need to make sure you address?
Talk about continuing education plans, training and degrees, as well as potential cost, tuition and scholarships.

Pick an experience from your own life and explain how it has influenced your development.
Example: A good experience or a bad experience-- both have had an impact on you. If you choose to use the negative experience, explain how it might have negatively impacted you, and how you have overcome it, and turned the situation for the better. This is all about displaying and conveying how you have progressed as a student and a human being.

What would your teachers say about you?
Example: Be honest here. It's easy to think about all the negative comments people may have to say about you, but look past those comments, and find the good. You can mention things that have been a problem in the past, but go into depth regarding the positive aspects of your character/personality.
