Suzie needs to be at school for the start of Enrichment, either Mass or reading in the Senior Commons.

No. Even if the discussion had nothing to do with the classmate, the behavior and body language are problematic. At worst, it may make the fellow student worry that the conversation was a negative one about her. At best, it signals that a fellow classmate is not welcome in the shared Senior Commons space. Remember - civic friendship is not about being best friends with everyone. It is about respecting everyone and being aware of what our behavior and body language communicates.
