Interventions when talking to someone with hearing impairment
When working with a hearing-impaired person be sure to reduce the background noise (tv, radio, etc.), speak face to face so they can read lips if needed, my need to have assistive devices available (hearing amplifiers, telephone amplifiers, sign language), talk slowly to aid in understanding.
Patient education regarding refractive disorders.
Patients with refractive disorders will need corrective lenses to see clearly.
Patient education about Glaucoma
They need to understand that the use of eye drops will be lifelong (they cannot stop using them)
Walk with them to prevent falls

Nicotinic acid (niacin): for vasodilation
Antihistamines: reduce assist with the inflammation
Antiemetics
Tranquilizer and sedatives to assist with calming the client so they can rest and control the vertigo, nausea, and vomiting
