What is Behavior?
The decision to let go of feelings of vengeance toward a person or group who has harmed you.
What is forgiveness?
Covering up thoughts instead of speaking up appropriately and respectfully.
What is Suppressed Anger?
This cue involves the way our body responds. Ex: Rapid heart rate, feeling hot.
What is a Physical Cue?
This is an event that creates an emotional or behavioral response.
What is a Trigger?
This is what happened after I acted out.
What is a consequence?
Becoming aware of the emotional pain that resulted from your anger.
What is the Uncovering of your anger?
This category of anger includes rage, blame, explosiveness, and intimidation.
What is Openly Aggressive Anger?
This cue involves behaviors we display when we get angry.
What is a Behavioral Cue?
Where we draw different sensations, by color, we are feeling while working through the Anger Triggers.

Based on the data, I looked at myself for patterns in my behavior and where my anger comes from.

Exploring the idea of forgiveness and taking initial steps.
What is making the decision to forgive?
Standing up for your needs but also thinking of the needs of others.
What is Assertive Anger?
This cue involves feelings that may occur along with our anger.
What is an Emotional Cue?
These thoughts help you get what you want in a positive way.
What are functional thoughts?
This could be an appropriate feeling or thought about how I would respond in the future to a similar situation.
What are New Feelings/Focus?
Striving to understand the person who injured me and working to forgive them.
What is developing compassion?
This involves preserving your worth, needs and convictions at someone else's expense.
What is Passive Aggressive Anger?
This "self-talk" cue refers to the thoughts that occur in response to the anger-related event.
What is the Cognitive Cue?
These thoughts get in the way of getting what you want and lead to bad choices.
I do this to replace my destructive behaviors and make a commitment to doing better.

Feelings that you are gaining relief from the process of forgiving.

The use of irony to mock or convey contempt with someone.

This is a behavior that can be verbal threats, verbal abuse or violent acts.

This includes Preconventional Morality, Conventional Morality, and Post-conventional Morality.
