Special Committees are activated upon a simple majority of the senate. They are created and established by the senate. 3.

Ad-hoc committees may be established as needed for a particular purpose or to investigate a specific issue. These are established at the discretion of the Speaker, Executive Order, or motion of the Senate. 0.
What happens if one of us is up for censure trial?
The Senate shall, at the discretion of the AG, conduct a hearing. The hearing shall be conducted in a manner that shall be determined by the Speaker and approved by a simple majority vote of the membership of the Senate. The Senate shall have the authority to award one or more censures to a member of the Judicial Branch through the aforementioned process upon a two-thirds majority vote of the membership of the Senate.
