She is surprised, but happy that he has this idea. She does worry about the good inside him preventing him from committing such a horrific act.

She has been upset she wasn't involved in the prophecies used by the witches on Macbeth, so she makes her own spells to cast on Macbeth, so he is on a downfall.

Malcolm tests MacDuff's loyalty to see if MacDuff actually hates Macbeth, or if he has been sent to trick Malcolm.
"Tell thee Macduff was from his mother's womb,
Untimely ripped." What does this mean?
MacDuff was not born of woman, but removed. According to the apparition, Macbeth will die at the hands of MacDuff.
What does the third prophecy mean for Macbeth?
Although he will be king, he won't have a long line of family as king, as banquo will have kids who are kings.

There is weeping, an owl screaming, an earthquake struck. There was laughing and shouts of "Murder". These were signs of The Great Chain of Being.
