What is the word for an organism that changes over time?
Evolution

What is the structure that makes proteins?
Ribosomes

How is osmosis different from diffusion?
Osmosis is only the movement of water. Diffusion is the movement of anything, but water.

Why is it important to run the same test multiple times during an experiment.
So the results are repeatable to validate the experiment so that what you discovered/found was not a fluke or coincidence.

What is the term to describe an organism that maintains a stable internal environment?
Homeostasis

What are the two structures that can be found in plant cells and not in animal cells? What are the functions of these organelles?
Cell Wall- to allow certain molecules in and out of the cell Chloroplasts- To convert light energy into sugar

Say you have 10 salad dressing molecules and 4 water molecules on the right. You have 2 salad dressing molecules and 8 water molecules on the left. Both substance are permeable and can pass through the cell membrane. What molecules are going to move in which direction? How many molecules of each do you expect to be on each side?
Salad Dressing moves to the left, Water moves to the right. There should be 6 of each on each side of the membrane.

If your experimental results do not match your results, it it a bad thing to happen? Why or why not?
No, because we can go back and adjust our experiment or use the conclusions to develop a new experiment

What are the two types of Reproduction? How are these two types of reproduction different from one another?
Asexual- One parent, Both cells are identical Sexual- Two parents, Offspring contains genetic information from both parents

What are two similarities between prokayotic cells and eukaryotic cells? What are two differences between prokaryotic cells and eukaryotic cells?
Similarities- Both have DNA, Ribosomes, cytoplasm, Cell Membrane Differences- Eukaryotic has a nucleus, prokaryotic doesn't have a nucleus. Eukaryotic has membrane bound organelles (ex. mitochondria), prokaryotic cells don't. Eukaryotic large and complex, prokaryotic is small and simple.
