The final outcomes of the story, when all loose ends are tied up.

The main or most important character in a piece of literature.
What is protagonist?
Highest point of action in the conflict, the turning point of a story.
What is climax?
A narrative voice that uses the pronoun "you" to address the reader or listener

A struggle betweeen a character and an outside force.
What is external conflict?
Those who participate in the action of a literary work.
What are characters?
Details such as scenery, customs, clothing, weather, furniture, transportation, dialect, time of year/day help to describe this.
What is setting?
The series of events in a narrative.
What is plot?
Conclusion that a reader does not expect.
What is a surprise ending?
A struggle within a character's mind, such as over a difficult decision?
What is internal conflict?
When a story is told by the narrator who does not participate in the action, using the pronouns "he" and "she".

When the narrator tells only what one character thinks, feels, and observes.
