Students may be considered tardy to class if they are not in their classroom when the tardy bell rings, unless they have a pass from the teacher who detained them. Specific tardy guidelines once students are in the classroom doorway are at the discretion of the classroom teacher. Students will serve a 15 minute detention for the classroom teacher assigning the tardy. If students do not comply, teachers will notify the Administration. Students have a sufficient amount of time between all class changes to make it to their next class on time. If a student arrives at class after 10 minutes, (15 minutes for the 1st period) they will be counted absent then Administration will count this as a truancy and will investigate the situation. Accurate Attendance at the beginning of class is very important and should be a daily routine in all classes.
