Safety - Clinicians will have their credentials and photo IDs to verify before letting them into the home. You can also have a family member or friend join you for the visit.

What do they do in this "in-home" visit?
A licensed clinician will come to your home and check your vital signs, reflexes, blood pressure and heart rate.
"I’ve already seen, or will see, my regular doctor."
The clinician will listen to you and guide you through a thorough health evaluation at your own pace. No drive time, no crowded waiting rooms.
What happens next during the visit?
Perform a non-invasive physical exam to check vital signs and reflexes.

Ask if the member has the following:
* Do you have access to reliable inter?
*Do you have a laptop, tablet, or computer with a camera you can use for this call?
* How would you like to receive the link?

Our clinician will send a summary to your primary doctor after the visit. Humana wants to remind you this visit does not replace your regular visits with your primary care provider.

What happens after that?
Review all medications, including over-the-counter vitamins and supplements, and discuss any potential side effects or known interactions.

The visit last 30 minutes.
How do I know if the clinician is going to come on time?

Leave a summary of the visit with notes you can share with your primary care provider.
Who does the virtual visit?
A licensed clinician - either a doctor, nurse practitioner or a physician's assistant will conduct the call.
They will send the link either to the cell phone number or to a member's email or both. Always ask the member's preference.

reference if a specific reward is offered on the member profile. (Depends on member plan.)
What other things are done in the visit?
Conduct important health screenings as directed by your health plan.
Depending on the member, we can offer a retinal eye exam, AO1C (test blood sugar), cognitive screening, etc.
