If we're almost entirely sure that onboarding can be waived but the quoting tool is still showing us Consulting Approval, what should we do before promising this outcome to the customer?

Submit it for approval to make sure it goes through.

You get one that says the following: they want HubSpot for Marketers, it says they're ready to sign if we can get them a certain price, and it says they need a quote ASAP.

What should we do?

First confirm with the partner that this actually is true - we know Partners sadly oversell sometimes.

Then say, is this quote going to the person that can sign? Or is there more work to be done to scope out if HubSpot is a fit?

Pressure test partners - they should only be treated like a QL (in most cases).

If someone is on the Starter Platform and wants to upgrade to 2 seats of Sales Enterprise and keep all their other Starter hubs, what sort of onboarding can you sell them.

Regular onboarding, partner, AND Academy Onboarding (Academy can be sold for 2 or less seats of an Enterprise Hub)

Can you escalate a Deal Desk ticket?

No, but you can POLITELY ask people that have approved them before for you if they can expedite the approval process for you. Think critically about how often you do it though so you don't burn a bridge (i.e. only do it TRULY is urgent)

What is the MRR minimum to get a Net45 invoice approved?

There isn't one.

If you are sensing from a Partner deal that some important parts of the process are being skipped, what should you do?

Share those with the partner, ask for confirmation on if they've been address or how they are going to be addressed. If they can't give you those, ask for a call. If they don't get back to you, book a time on their calendar link that's included in the shared notes.

A customer wants HubSpot Onboarding but wants to delay it by one month. How do we sell that to them?

Create a new deal with just the onboarding SKU, and sell that to them. Then, sell them the software quote on the original deal with the notes that they purchased delayed onboarding on a different deal

DAILY DOUBLE! Name 4 ways to find a partner when you're in need of someone in a very specific industry/field

Search Success App for companies with the industry in their name, search smallbiz for those who have asked before, ask the team, use the Partner Matching tool in 53, ask the Slack channels of the partners where you're in their channels. And any others I may have missed.

If you find out a Partner promised specific pricing for HubSpot that requires a discount, what should you do?

First, let them know that they should not be offering discounts without asking us first as that is against the rules of the Partner program. Second, ask when they're looking to sign (if it's quick, think critically about if it makes sense to give it to them). Third, let their PDM know so they can coach them to not do that again as it takes away MRR from you all

DAILY DOUBLE: If you are unable to log into Okta or your Computer, what should you do to re-gain access?

Ask me a or teammate to submit a Systems IT HelpSpot ticket with "EMERGENCY" in the subject line. Then someone should Slack you within 15 minutes

DAILY DOUBLE! When we're in a pinch and not sure where to go for help, what should we NOT do first?

Come to me :) take a second, think about the situation, explore all internal resources and asking around first. THEN, come to me if you're stuck. As I've said many times, this job becomes a lot more fun the less you need me.

Also, don't be afraid to slack random people for help too! Sometimes being lightly annoying over Slack is what it takes to get things done
