Our Adult Dog SmartCare plan includes unlimited clinic visits and physical exams as well as in-clinic diagnostics! If you enroll in this plan for your dog, you will pay a one-time enrollment fee of $10 and then $24.99 per month and all of your exams and diagnostics for ear infections will be included in that price. You will also receive 10% off any medications or products our doctor recommends to treat the infections.

How do you enroll multiple pets for the same owner in VCP?
Complete enrollment for first pet. Once enrolled, click on the account number on the home screen. Then select "add additional pet" and proceed as normal.
What vaccinations are included in the Adult Dog SmartCare Plan?
Any core vaccinations deemed necessary by the veterinary professional providing services, including boosters.
How would you educate a pet parent to enroll in the Adult Cat SmartCare plan if they have a 9 year old Siamese, Binx, that is indoor and outdoor and comes into contact with feral cats in the neighborhood?
The Adult Cat Smartcare plan will include all recommended preventive services to keep your cat healthy. This plan is a one time $10 enrollment fee plus $24.99 per month. Included in this price, Binx will receive all vaccinations he needs to help prevent diseases he can get from other cats and mammals. The plan also includes annual fecal testing and FeLV/FIV testing which is important with cats that go outdoors. I also recommend that Binx gets microchipped in case a good Samaritan takes him to a shelter or he gets lost, he has a much higher chance of being returned to you. With going outdoors, Binx should receive frequent examinations, and this plan includes unlimited clinic visits and exams.

Remove the 100% off coupon that is automatically applied to the pet's cart in ASTA. Apply the 20% off coupon to the cart in place of the 100% coupon.
How should the client pay for their enrollment?
Verify their email address and cell phone number. Then ask whether they would like to finish their enrollment and add their payment method via a link texted or emailed to them. They will also sign to acknowledge their enrollment with this link. Only enter payment and have the client sign on the iPad if they are unable to complete enrollment via text or email.

What SmartCare plan would you recommend to a 14 year old dog that has joint issues, chronic kidney failure, and is blind? This dog is being managed for current ailments at a full-service veterinarian. He is visiting the wellness center for vaccination boosters.
Do not recommend a wellness plan unless the pet parent would benefit from enrolling the pet in the plan!

These are used to help ensure we've "checked all the boxes" and that our enrollments are successful.
What if a pet parent enrolled in a SmartCare plan is moving to another state?
Get the zip code the client is moving to and search for wellness centers in that area. If there is a wellness center nearby, give the client that center's information. Also give the client the customer support number for VCP. They will be able to move the VCP enrollment to the other center. If there is not a wellness center nearby the new zip code, have the client contact customer support for VCP to talk about their options for cancellation.
