When a collegiate chapter fails to meet Fraternity standards in any area of Fraternity life to the extent that the survival of the chapter is at stake, or fails to attempt to resolve the problems that resulted in Alert. The chapter receives written notice of its consequence that includes its deficiencies and issues explicit directives, including time limitations, for correcting the deficiencies. Additional reporting is required of a specific officer and advisor to ensure that continual, complete and accurate information reaches International Council regarding the chapter’s progress. Failure to correct the deficiencies within the stated time limitation may result in additional corrective action as deemed necessary by International Council or may result in the resolution of the chapter.

Additional reporting is required of the Vice President Scholarship and the Scholarship Advisor to ensure that continual, complete and accurate information reaches International Council regarding the chapter’s progress. If the chapter fails to correct the problem within the stated time limitation, International Council may resolve the chapter into an alumnae chapter.
