He stressed five key relationships: father to son, elder brother to younger brother, husband wife, ruler to subject, friend to friend. He also believed everyone had duties and responsibilities.

Describe the lifestyle of those living in the Old Stone Age.
People in the Old Stone Age were hunters and food gatherers. They lived in small bands of 20 to 30 people. Everyone made a contribution; men hunted ot fished and women gathered berries, fruit, nuts, wild grain, roots, and shellfish with their children. They were called nomads because they moved place to place as they followed animals and ripeninf fruit.

The Nile River would flood, spreading silt across the valleyd, renewing the soil and keeping it fertile. The animals that flocked to the river to drink were another source of food. In addition, rivers provided a regular water supply and a means of transportation.

It was founded by Siddhartha Guatama. He encouraged meditation and hes is referred to as the "Enlightened One." Buddhism focused on the Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path. Their major beliefs were reincarnation and nirvana.

Describe Alexander the Great and his reign.
Alexander the Great studied under Socrates, who taught him about other countries. His father taught him to become a fearless warrior. Alexander went on to take over Greece, Persia, Egypt, and India. Some of these countries, such as Egypt, were glad to be under his rule because they were now freed from Persia. The age of Alexander became known as the Hellenistic Culture. He also names a city after himself, Alexander.

The neolithic was a nomadic breakthrough. Farmers settled into permanenet villages and developed a new range of skills and tools. The development of farming and domesticating animals was the beginning of the New Stone Age, or Neolithic Revolution.

In athens, people were educated and they had a democratic government. Women had little to no rights. Famous philosophers from Athens included Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle. Sparta followed a military style way of life; they were very strict. However, women had a lot of rights. Children were taken from their families at the age of 7 and put into military training.
