What does nomadic mean? Why were some Native Americans nomadic? What type of housing did they need?

Nomadic means moving around place to place. Some Native Americans were nomadic because they had to follow the buffalo, such as the Great Plains region. Their type of housing was the tepee because they can take it a part and build it back up when needed.
