Take a breath before responding, Use an “I” statement (I don’t like that joke. It isn’t true.) Set a boundary respectfully (Please don’t say that about me.) If it keeps going, move to a different seat or ignore them. If it continues or feels like bullying, talk to a teacher or trusted adult.
You took group photos with your friends at school. Later that night, Gina texts you and tells you to post a picture without your friend George in it because, "These are the cool friends." What do you do or say?
You sit with a group of friends at lunch. You packed a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, but you realize one of your friends is allergic to peanuts. What do you say or do?
