Why is it important we do not touch any vandalism and contact BSUPD and the RD/AC on duty as soon as we come across it? 

We want to ensure an investigation can happen if needed and BSUPD can collect evidence if they need it. We do not want to touch it so we do not tamper with it. We should take photos and complete a community damage form.

What is the role of an RA during the fire alarm?

RAs should exit the building as fast as they can. RAs can knock on resident doors on their way out/give instructions, but the most important thing is to exit the building. RA on duty should contact the RD/AC on duty and fill out a Fire Alarm form.

Can a student can have a guest over to stay as many nights as they want?

No. 3 nights in a row only and so long as roommates/suitemates are in agreement.

What should you do if the master card is missing?

Contact your supervisor or the RD/AC on Call immediately. If the master is considered "missing" or "lost" it is an extreme safety hazard. We need to know the location of the master card at all times.

What is the purpose of the community damage form? 

It informs the RD/AC of the damage that occurred, documents it, and allows for billing to happen.

A student informed you of their roommate issues. What should you do next? 

Offer a mediation and a roommate agreement. Fill out a communication form and wait for follow up from your RD/AC. 

Depending on the severity of the situation, contact RD/AC on duty.
