What is 10:00?
Except for fighting, what teachers send to the office for discipline.
What is a referral?
SPED, 504, Gifted and ABLE, Dyslexia, ESL and Bilingual are part of this.
What are the Special Programs we have at Lawrence?
This meeting will be held every Monday during grade level planning.
What are Intentional Planning meetings?
This annual event is scheduled for August 16, 2018 this year.
What is "Meet the Teacher Night"?
Teachers are to pick up their students from the cafeteria at this time (at the beginning of the school day).
What is 7:45?
Any conduct grade below a "B" on report cards should result in this before report cards go out.
What is a parent conference or phone call?
All SPED and dyslexia referrals must be initiated with this committee.
What is PST?
An event or activity will not happen if it is not on my ....
What is "calendar"?
You are encouraged to join this Association every year. 100% staff participation usually means "Jean days"!!
What is Lawrence PTA?
This is pick up time for your students at the end of lunch.
What is "on time"?
Students should have something to do while waiting their turn for this.
What is a restroom break?
Class schedules will be posted here.
What is outside of classroom door?
Students are allowed to use the telephone in what area only?
What is in the office?
This is set up with parents during the week of October 15th.
What is Parent Conferences?
This is sent home every Thursday for parents to review.
What are Thursday folders?
This is sent out to parents midway in the grading period.
What is a progress report?
You will contact this person if you need to be absent for a day.
Who is Cathy Swann?
All Lawrence employees must wear this at all times while in the building.
What is an identification badge?
We have two "official" of this each year at Winter Break and the Last Day of School.
What are "Class Parties"?
This is a ten minute time frame for a short break on the playground.
What is recess?
This is the best deterrent to student discipline issues.
What is building a strong relationship with each student?
These are the arrival and departure times for staff.
What is 7:40 am and 3:40 pm?
Students are not allowed in these two areas.
What is the lounge and the workroom?
These are to be posted and stated multiple times during the content time to help students understand what they are learning?
