What is the Sermon on the Mount?
What is salt for?
Salt is used to make things tasty!
Does God change His rules for us?
No!
Why should we show forgiveness?
Because God forgave us!
What does it mean to be holy?
Pure or good
What does Jesus say will happen if you create peace?
He says you will be happy!
Do we keep our lights covered or out in the open?
Out in the open! (so people who do not believe in Jesus can see!)
Did Jesus get rid of all the old laws God made?
No!
When should we stop being kind to other people?
Never!
Do we want God's plans or our own?
We want God's plans
When you do the right thing even though it is hard, what does Jesus say will happen ?
Jesus says they will be blessed and made happy!
How do you become a light to the world?
By walking with Jesus and living like Him!
Why should we still follow the laws?
Because we follow Jesus! (and want others to follow Jesus too!)
Forgive them and pray for them!
What is the most important part of the Lord's prayer?
To show God that we respect Him and that we know He is Holy.
