Why did the U.S. invade Iraq in 2003?
The main reason was to take out the dictator Saddam Hussein because they had a suspicious that he had weapons of mass destruction (WMD) and had a major connection to the terrorist attack 9/11
Why did U.S. invade Afghanistan?
They did it to remove the terrorist who cause the 9/11 attacks.
Who was responsible for the 9/11 attacks?
The terrorist group Al-Qaeda and the person who lead this group was Osama bin Laden.
Why did Iraq invade Kuwait in the first place?
Iraq invasion happened on August 2, 1990 mostly because money and oil, Iraq was nearly banrupt.
What are the two sides fighting over?
Weather the Jewish people or Palestinians should get the land of Israel.
Did Iraq actual have Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) ?
No, after the invasion a thorough inspection by the U.S, they could not find any recent weapons maybe some from a while back not useful.
How long did this war last?
Around 20 years from 2001 to 2021.
What were the targeted for the attacks?
The first 2 planes took out the twin towers in New York, the 3rd crashed into the pentagon in Virginia, and lastly the 4th plane crashed into a field in Pennsylvania.
How did the rest of the world respond
The United Nations didn't like this and told Iraq to not do it and this led to the United States to eventually force Iraq out.
What is the difference between Gaza and the West Bank?
The Gaza Strip is narrow quite populated since 2007 governed by Hamas. The West Bank is larger landlocked, governed Palestinian Authourity.

He was found by the U.S. and was exacuted.
Why did the U.S. stay in Afghanistan for so long?
They stayed there for so long to prevent them from gaining power again.

Jewish people want to claim the land because they view the land being their ancient history land. The Palestinians have already been living on the land and don't wanna give it up.

The war lasted 8 years started in March 20th 2003 and ended August 31st 2010.
Why did the Taliban get control so fast after the U.S. left?
When the U.S. left their security and military collapsed so the Taliban took over.

Nearly 3,000 people died.

The combat was pretty short, after a few weeks of bombing, the Coalition launched a ground offensive on February 24, 1991.

Split the land (Israel) into two that way they both can live on the land they want.

There was no evidence of a direct connection between Saddam Hussein and 9/11.

The goal they have was to eliminate the terrorist group that had caused 9/11 and to take the Taliban out of control. They eliminated the group they wanted but sadly when they left the war the Taliban got back in control.

Security in all the areas that got hit now have so much security.
What were the results of the war?
Kuwait was liberated and saved and Iraq suffered major military problems.

Because there are different cultures, traditions, different opinions from different people not everyone will agree with each other.
