Explain the Indian Removal Act and the Trail of Tears.

Native Americans living on the land, the plantation owners need the land to expand, try to kick them out. The Cherokee decide to take it to court, end up in the Supreme Court and win. Andrew Jackson, the president at the time decides the plantation owners should win and allows them use the land and kicks the Native Americans out to head west, they leave and it is known as the Trail of Tears. Many of them died on their way west due to weather and the long walk.
