Serves students with cognitive impairments who require and alternative, functional curriculum and meet the criteria to be assessed by DLM's.
What is LIFE SKILLS PROGRAM?
This ensures that no changes can be made in a child's program without prior notice to the parents. It also provides a mechanism for the resolution of disagreements when parents disagree with the program recommendations of the school district.

When a child appears to be struggling in school parents, teachers or other school personnel can do this

What Section 504? An educational plan that is written for a student who needs modifications or accommodations within the general education classroom environment.

Time Parents have to invoke stay put if the dispute the IEP by filing a due process complaint or agreeing to mediation after an IEP meeting
