"The Nightmare Before Christmas" (1993) is one of the most iconic Halloween movies of all time, and my personal favorite. Tim Burton came up with the idea while he was an animator with Disney. Inspiration cam after he rewrote a classic poem. When he pitched the movie, all he had was this, as well as the designs for Jack Skellington, Zero, and Santa. What poem did Burton rewrite?

The blockbuster hit "Alien" released in theater in 1979, and in my opinion, it might be the best movie monster of all time. The terrifying look and feel of the creature, the gruesome chest bursting scene, no one had ever seen anything like it. And yet, how much did we actually see it? The titular Alien isn't even seen until an hour into the film. Remind me, how much screen time does the Alien get?

Fun fact, the original budget Ridley Scott asked for was $4.2 million. While waiting for Fox to greenlite the film, he did the storyboard to get a head start on things. In The Greatest American Hero, A teacher is asked to be a superhero using a special alien suit with powers he can barely understand or control. In season 2s episode The Beast in Black, Bill is possessed by a woman's spirit. To rescue him, Ralph crosses to another dimension and discovers that his super-suit doesn't work. "Bustin' makes me feel good!" The 80s classic "Ghostbusters" went through a variety of different phases. One of the many reason Dan Aykroyd had to rethink his idea was the tragic death of former SNL castmate John Belushi, whom Aykroyd had envisioned as Peter Venkman. The role was later immortalized by Bill Murray, but the writers still wanted to honor Belushi. How did the writers involve him in the movie?
