Chondromalacia

Athlete takes a direct blow to the tip of the shoulder when falling to the ground while being tackled.  He complains of severe pain on the tip of the shoulder and is unable to fully abduct his arm.  He has an obvious step off deformity

AC joint sprain

Individuals finger shows obvious deformity.  The DIP joint is permanently flexed, with the PIP is permanently extended. 

Swan Neck

A soccer player scores the game winning goal off a corner kick.  After the celebration you notice that she is holding her head and complains of nausea.  Later that night she states her headache is worse.  

Grade II concussion
