- Student must provide a current and valid copy of the required industry certification(s) listed in this agreement to receive credit.

Only if they are plan A_B - this means changing from one degree to another.

Student's program is AS: STEM. Student voiced they received a non-compliant email for MAC 1140. What would you share with the student?
Remember, the AS: STEM degree audit will not display MAC 1140/1114 since these are the prerequisite courses for MAC 2311. Therefore, a CAPP form can be submitted since the student must complete the course prerequisites to allow registration for MAC 2311.
Student is requesting a signed degree audit for a pending program. What would you inform the student?
Pending programs are not FA eligible, so a signed degree audit cannot be provided.
Student has attended an early registration event and cannot register for ARC courses. Student has the ARC attribute on SGASADD. What would you communicate to the student?
ARC courses have a separate open registration period. Students who have the assigned attribute will be sent an email indicate when registration opens for these courses.
Student completed HSC 1004 and is asking if that can help satisfy their SLS 1122 requirement. What would you communicate to the student?
Yes, a Course Substitution (No Dean Approval Required) form can be completed by a SSC for credit.

Non Final Grade and Other Academic Disputes
Student registered for SPN 1121 (3rd attempt) during the Fall 2025 term. The student withdrew from the course prior to the withdrawal deadline for the term. However, they return during the Spring 2026 term to the Advising Center since their grade for SPN 1121m from the Fall 2025 term, shows as an F. What would you communicate to the student?
3rd attempts are converted into an F should a student withdraw or be withdrawn from a course.

Conditions That Apply to a Third Attempt in a Course
An in-program Nursing student is requesting a signed degree audit for their SAP appeal. How would you approach this?
An in-program or bachelor's level student must reach out to their assigned SSC for a signed degree audit.
Student voiced they received an email from Dr. Szentmiklosi welcoming them back to Valencia College, but the student status on Banner = Suspension. How would you approach this?
Inform the student about their academic standing and readmission process.
Student transferred in MAC 1147 and is asking if they can take MAC 2311. What would you communicate the student?
A Student Success Coach can complete the Course Substitution (Dean Approval Required) for either MAC 1114 or MAC 1140 using MAC 1147 as noted in the catalog. MAC 1147 cannot count for double credit.
If the student has satisfied the prerequisite requirements for MAC 2311, you can provide an override.
Student wants to graduate the end of the term, but missed the application deadline. What can you share with the student?

Student is pursing an AS degree in Engineering Technology - Supply Chain Automation. Their governing catalog is 2021-2022. Student voices they received a non-compliant email for CET 2486C. The student voices that they have one elective space left on their degree audit and should be able to take the course but they received a non-compliant email from Financial Aid for CET 2486C. What would you have communicate the student?
Based on the student's governing catalog - CET 2486C is not an elective option (reference the 21-22 degree pathway and/or catalog), if the student updates their catalog the course will be covered by Financial Aid
What Banner page(s) would you reference to confirm if a student has lost their College Access Program Eligiblity?
