It won't have questions right after it. It will have another passage.

Write a 1 on the passage and 1 on the questions that go with it. Then write a 2 on the 2nd passage and 2 on the 2nd set of questions. Then write a 1&2 on the questions that go with both.

Why does the author put themes in a fiction story?
Why is it important to pay attention to all the headings?
They tell you what each section is going to be about.
Why is important to number the lines and stanzas?
It helps us to locate information quickly.

Yes. It helps you to preview the text so you can understand what you are reading.

Their actions and how they solve a problem help you because you can relate to the character.

Comparing something to something else using like or as.
Should you read both passages first and then answer all the questions?
No! Read one passage and answer the questions about that passage. Then read the second passage and do the same thing.

Yes, although you probably won't use all the letters when previewing Fiction text.

You make connections and it helps with locating information easier.

The pictures created in your mind from words in the poem.

You can make connections as to how they are the same and different which will help you to answer questions easier.
What should you do if you finish early?
Go back and check your answers. Make sure your bubble sheet matches your answers from your booklet. Prove your answers by highlighting them in the text.
