A staff member shall not associate with students at any time in a manner which gives the appearance of impropriety. Staff member shall not transport students in private vehicle, and may not attempt to counsel, assess, diagnose, or treat student problem or behavior. A staff member shall not send students on personal errands.

Staff are prohibited from engaging in personal activities that may be in conflict with the school, such as private enterprises with vendors, campaigning for a candidate, and soliciting fees for private tutoring.

Full-time employees who have been assigned to jury duty shall receive their normal pay for each day they serve for up to two weeks, and may keep their jury duty pay. The employee will need to provide a copy of the jury summons to the Principal. Absence Forms that reflects the dates of absence for jury duty must be submitted immediately. No Employer shall discharge or threaten to discharge any permanent employee who is summoned to serve as a juror if the employee gives reasonable notice to the Employer of the summons prior to the commencement of the employee's service as a juror and if the employee is absent from employment because of the actual jury service.

Any staff who knows or suspects child abuse or neglect shall immediately report the suspicions to the Superintendent, Principal, or designee. The President, Superintendent, Principal, or designee shall then investigate and if necessary contact the appropriate authorities.
