What is Dry Tech?
It’s an opportunity for all the designers to see how their designs will look altogether just in case they have to make final adjustments. The dry tech doesn’t need the performers on stage.
What scene Break down
A summary of all the scenes and characters written out. The purpose of it is to keep track of your cast list, props, and scene elements.
What is Intimacy Call?
Intimacy calls for an intimacy coach they have some expertise in how to arrange scenes that could include nakedness, sexuality, kissing, and sexual tension.
Purpose of an incident report
If someone gets hurt/injured during rehearsals, you must file an incident report.
What is a Costume Parade?
All actors meet where they are fully dressed costumed and in makeup and go on stage under the lights. That way the costume director and artistic director see how they look. The actors will wear their costumes during the run of the show.
What are Calling Cues?
They are non-verbal cues given to actors and technicians that are at different locations during the run of the show.
Fight call
Doing stage combat actors practice typically an hour before the show. Practice moves at a slower speed than up to actual speed.
Stand By
A reliable person ready to make a quick move.
