Types of cues
This type of Cueing can be done completely silent and transmitted anywhere throughout the theater
Cue lights
During the rehearsal and pre production process the ASM will help out this person
This is the MAIN element notated in the calling script that stage managers will relay to crew and actors

This type of cueing allows for more direct communication between the SM and the crew

ASMs and other crew wear these in oreder to help with clear communication back stage and throughout the theater

When running a show, if any accidents happen or problems arise its important to do this in order to do better in the future.

in order to prepare for rehearsals stage managers will make this document, comprised of technical cues and blocking that may effect the cues of a performance

Acting calls
This different type of information replaces lines or lyrics when a more movement based approach is desired. (often times used in dance)
Counts
A type of run though where actors will skip through dialog from one technical cue to the other. This allows stage managers and designers to work on timing for the show.
