Who is the boom operator?
Labels and organizes footage for the editor. They may also edit rough cuts of scenes if instructed by the primary editor.

Once the producer and the financial partner negotiate terms the film can now start this next stage
What is Pre-Production?
Finds and manages film locations.
Who is the location Manager?
Responsible for helping the DP get the right lens for the shot, in addition to making sure any batteries, media cards and other accessories needed are ready for the next group of shots or scene.
Who is the camera assistant?
Mostly works during post-production by taking the footage and making decisions on how to best put the project together.
Who is the Editor?
A clear summary of plot points, characters, and themes of a film. Also may include visuals to help sell the story.
What is the treatment?
Creates new music for the film.
Who is the Music Composer?
The head of the sound department during the production stage of filmmaking. They record and mix the audio on set.
Who is the Production Sound Mixer?
Responsible for gathering and placing all the necessary sound for the film and preparing it for the sound mixer. This includes dialogue tracks and sound effects.
Who is the Sound Editor?
The leader of the creative aspects to get a film completed. Responsible for interpreting the script into a visual format.
Who is the Director
responsible for filming the movie and overseeing the camera crew and lighting team.
Who is the cinematographer?
Keeps track of what parts of the script have been filmed and makes notes of any deviations between what was actually filmed and what appeared in the script.
Who is the script supervisor?
In VFX, they are responsible for constructing the final image by combining layers of previously created live action and/or CGI material.
Who is the Compositor?
Responsible for the financial and logistical aspects of getting a film completed.
Who is the producer?
Realizes the Production Designer's creative vision for all the sets and locations that eventually give productions its unique visual identity.
Who is the Art Director?
Works with the DP to help shape the light on set.
Who is the gaffer?
Establishes the overall look and color for a film
