Items in a house
The piece of furniture that we use to sleep on, normally it is covered by blankets and pillows. I have bought a new one because my previous one was so uncomfortable.

This country is a neighbour of Argentina and (arguably) their main rival at football. Their flag is green and yellow they won independence from Portugal in 1822.
Brazil
A famous singer from the South of the USA. She has made pop, country and R&B songs such as "Single Ladies" and "Texas hold 'em". She married a famous rapper and is in a modern power couple.
Beyonce
A container normally used to hold a liquid, for example water. People have made jokes about how it is said in my accent.
a bottle
A landlocked country in South America with a strong indigenous heritage and many breathtaking natural landscapes. It is known for its high-altitude cities, colourful traditional clothing, and a huge white salt desert that looks like a giant mirror after rain.
Bolivia
This pop-rock band from Liverpool released songs in the 1960s. They are iconic for their hairstyles and cheeky personalities. My sister is named after a famous song of theirs - "Eleanor Rigby".
The Beetles
An object that people use to carry books, clothes, or other personal items on their back. It became especially popular with students and travelers because it was practical, comfortable, and easy to carry.

A small European country known for its delicious chocolate, waffles, and famous fries. It is home to the headquarters of the European Union and has three official languages: Dutch, French, and German, as well as the famous animated character Tin Tin.
Belgium
This artist was the most popular singer in the world in 2025. Although his name is in English, he hasn't made a single song in English, but headlined one of the most famous events of the year in the US.
Bad Bunny
The thing we use to keep us warm at night. They are cozy and soft, and often made out of cotton or wool.
a blanket
A country in Eastern Europe whose capital city is Sofia. It became famous for its beautiful mountains, spectacular lakes and traditional yogurt (and also football player Dimitar Berbatov). The country was also part of the Eastern Bloc during the 20th century.
Bulgaria
A world-famous composer from Germany. He created powerful classical music pieces such as Für Elise and Symphony No. 5. Even after losing his hearing, he continued composing and became one of the most influential musicians in history.
Ludwig van Beethoven
The part of a lamp that is made out of class and omits light. They are small and often break, so must be replaced semi-regularly.
a (light) bulb
A country in South Asia with many rivers and a very large population. It is famous for its colourful culture, spicy food, and clothing industry, especially the production of T-shirts and other textiles. The capital is Dhaka.
Bangladesh
A hugely popular music group from South Korea. They are known for their energetic pop songs, impressive choreography, and global hits such as Dynamite and Butter. Their fans, called the “ARMY,” have helped them become one of the most successful bands in the world.
