Justice is when people are treated equally and fairly.
What is injustice?
Injustice is where someone or something is treated differently and unfairly.
What is a steward?
A helping, caring, and volunteering person.
How can we show justice?
We can show justice by being kind, understanding, treating people equally, fairly, and compassionately.
How is injustice shown?
Injustice can be shown through discrimination because of race, gender, money, and age.
How can we show stewardship?
We can show stewardship by caring and looking after the world and the people and animals that live on it.
When has Jesus showed justice?
Jesus shows justice in Matthew 8 when he heals a poor old leper. This is justice, because he treats him the exact same as he would treat any old rich man that wasn’t seriously sick.
How can we fix injustice?
We can fix the injustice crisis by standing for those who are being affected by discriminative people.
When has Jesus showed stewardship?
The bible says in Galatians 1:4 – “Jesus gave himself for our sins to free us from this evil world we live in. This is what God the Father wanted.” This verse tells us about how Jesus showed stewardship towards everyone else when he died to take away our sins.
What does God say about justice?
‘He loves what is right and fair. The Lord’s love fills the earth.’ - Psalm 33:5
What does God say about injustice?
Whoever shows injustice will reap trouble, and they will no longer be mean to others
What does God say about stewardship?
The bible says in 1 Peter 4:10 “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”
Is it justice for someone to be treated different because of their race?
No.
Is it justice or injustice for someone to be treated differently because of their gender?
Injustice.
