No. Some weapons and stores go on specific stations

CSED stands for "Command signal encoder decoder".
What are the 2 main components of the SMS?
The SMS is composed of the Armament processor set and the electric fuzing power supply (AWW-4).
What switch provides the SAFE or ARM option?
The master switch provides Safe and ARM options.
What Switch is used to apply power to the stores management system?
the 3B switch is used to apply power to the SMS.
How many pylon stations are on the F-18?
There is 5 pylon stations on the aircraft. 4 wing pylon stations(Suu-63) and one centerline pylon station(Suu-62).
What two stations share a CSED?
Stations 5 and 6 share the CSED installed on station 6 inside the right wheel well.
What does the SMS provide interface for?
The SMS provides interface for 9 Weapons stations and the gun.
Where is the electronic Equipment control located?
The electronic Equipment control is located between the left and right DDI's.
Does the Emergency Jettison require 3B to be ON in order to function?
No. Emergency jettison only requires weight OFF wheel in order to fonction.
On what stations can you install an external fuel tank?
Stations 3, 5 and 7 are considered wet stations and carry a functional external fuel tank.

Fuselage CSED
Pylon CSED

What Bus is used for the communication between the Armament computer and CSED's?
The armament mux bus is used for the communication between the Armament computer and CSED's.
Which one of theses components is NOT on the master arm control panel?
A/A switch, A/G switch, Master Switch, IR cool switch, Emergency Jettison
The IR cool switch is NOT located on the master arm control panel.
How many weight off wheels interlocks are there?
There are 3 WOW interlocks used by the SMS.
What is the purpose of the gun CSED reset button?
The gun CSED reset button allows the load crew to tell the SMS that the gun is loaded.

The 4 types of built in checks are:
Power on BIT
Periodic BIT
Initiated BIT
Maintenance BIT
What is the purpose of the cage/uncage button?
The Cage/uncage button will trigger the end to end test when testing A/A and A/G weapons.
Where does the power for weapons stations, gun and AWW-4 come from?
The power for weapons stations 1 through 4, gun station and AWW-4 comes from the left buss.
The power for the weapons stations 4 through 9 comes from the right buss.
How many CSED's is there on an aircraft configured with 4 wing pylons and 1 centerline pylon?
There is 9 CSED's counting 4 Pylon CSED's, 2 Wingtip CSED's, 2 Fuselage CSED's and 1 gun CSED's
The landing gear control handle is DOWN with weight ON wheel. Is weapon release Enabled or Disabled?
The weapon release is DISABLED when the landing gear is down with weight on wheel.
What is the result of pushing the air to air select switch?
Pressing the air to air select switch will select A/A master mode and A/A weapons.
