Describe two ways forests benefit from wildfires.

One way forests benefit from wildfires is new trees and plants are able to grow in burned areas. Flowering meadows and small shrubs and trees grow in open fields in the forest.

Another way is it allows low-growing forest plants to live. Before the fire, towering older trees blocked the sunlight, so only plants that can grow in the deep shade survived.
