He began yelling at the men over the noise of the storm, "Argh! We must bring down the sails men! You and you… bring them down!" He called out to a pirate wearing a striped sweater and another one with a bandanna. WHERE is this story taking place? HOW do you know?

One Sunday, the bacon finished cooking and Mom took the trays out of the oven to cool. Liam could not wait to eat one of the crispy pieces! As the bacon was cooling, Dad called Mom and Liam outside to see the lights he was putting up on the house for the holidays. The lights were beautifully strung from the roof. After telling Dad how much they liked his work, Mom and Liam went back inside the house. They heard their dog Ross run out of the kitchen. Liam wondered why?

The first four tries, he struck out. On Keith’s fifth try, he swung the bat and felt his bat hit the ball. He hit it all the way out into the field!

Martin Luther King was born in 1929. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia. King married his wife Corretta in 1953. Corretta and Martin lived in Alabama soon after. King fought for civil rights. He was on the cover of a famous magazine in 1957. He met President Eisenhower just a year after. He was put in prison several times for peacefully speaking out for equal rights. He wrote a now famous letter from prison in 1963. That same year, he also gave his “I Have a Dream” speech in Washington D.C. Martin Luther King, Jr. won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964.
