What is the order of security tags (name tags) and why are they so important?

Parent tag, room tag and child tag.

They are so important because they ensure a secure check out process, every parent coming to pick up their child should have the parent alphanumeric code that matches.

When do we start programming?

-30 min before for social time and huddle

-As soon as service starts

How are we supposed to fill out the salvation sheet?

Every box needs to have the information of the kid that we find on their tag, paper should be put back on the separator and kid should wear a starting line bracelet.

Who should be on platform during worship?

Worship volunteers and kids who are on the worship team with worship shirts only.

What should you do after your last kid is picked up?

You should make sure that your table and those around you are clean, and help put your bin away!

Who is allowed to be in the Studio?

Only students who have undergone the onboarding process, adults who have been background checked.

Those who have the shirt and volunteer tag placed so that is visible because it means they have gone through that process. And Staff! :-)

What time should a volunteer arrive to their serving time?

30 minutes earlier, for huddle and to be prepared for social time and the rest of service!

When large group game is happening, who is supposed to participate?

Everyone!

How can you best prepare before Sunday?

-Accepting planning center

-Reading through the guides 

-Checking the group chat consistenly

-Read the email that is sent through planning center or, read the whatsapp group chat where everything is summarized.

What are the kids doing during checkout time?

They are listening for their names and sitting at their tables while finishing activities and answering discussion questions from their leaders.

When do doors close?

Doors are closed and locked 30 minutes after each service to ensure the safety of our kids.

We never open doors before service fully ends.

Explain the Rule of Two

There must always be two non-related approved adults (18+) there always has to be a female present, when supervising a child.

We should never help an Elementary aged kid in the restroom.

When does service end?

Every service is projected to last around 60 minutes unless told otherwise.

How do we handle tough conversations? 

We create a safe place that requires acceptance and trust, but it doesn't mean that we promise confidentiality or secrecy.

When should a volunteer answer planning center?

Right away! It is an expectation that you are serving every Sunday already- if you have to decline, you should do it 3 weeks ahead of time!

Who are the people that are supposed to do check in / check out?

Staff members, volunteers (18+), whoever is scheduled for that position on Sunday, or someone who Maria asks for help with in case of emergency.

Where can you know what is happening at what time?

On the curriculum, it breaks down how many minutes each thing should happen.

What are the three ways you can be present with your kids, week in and week out? 

-Show up predictably- be consistent!

-Show up mentally- leaving everything else at the door and be present with the kids!

-Show up randomly- in ways kids we didn't expect, mailing cards, games, birthday prizes!

Who should handle microphones?

Hosts, communicators, check in/check out assigned volunteers.
