What are heroes and heroines?
The part of an informative essay about a book should include a hook, the name and author of the book, a 1-2 sentence summary of the book, and a thesis topic sentence that mentions the three details to be covered in the body paragraphs in the order that these will appear.
What is the introduction paragraph?
This is 主题 or a universal truth or lesson to be learned.
What is a theme?
When a story's author uses descriptive details appealing to one or more of the reader's five senses (hearing, seeing, smelling, tasting, touching/tactile).

What are sensory details?
This aspect/quality/characteristic of a character’s voice can help to show things like respect, friendliness, and other attitudes of the speaker in a particular situation and goes beyond the words alone.
What is tone?
All of the small steps for the hero/heroine that are analyzed and shown as a circle graph, diagramming the travel through two distinct halves of that circle: the ordinary world and the special world.
What is the hero's / heroine's journey?
The part of an informative essay about a book that should restate the thesis topic sentence, summarize the three details covered in the body paragraphs in the order that those appeared, and finish with either a solution, a suggestion, an opinion, a call to action, a prediction, or a restatement of the main idea.
What is the conclusion paragraph?
In this part of the plot diagram, often one learns about things such as a progression of suspense, extra conflicts to make subplots, delays and difficulties, a mentor or friend who will help the protagonist, a cautionary tale, more details about the main characters, and/or some supporting or minor characters for a richer story.

This type of character has a lot of depth with many different kinds of traits, act and feel differently depending on the situation and the people involved. (opposite of a flat character)

This portion of an argumentative / persuasive / opinion essay is written about first in a special fourth body paragraph and states one thing about the opposite opinion of the author’s opinion.
What is the counterargument?
One of Aristotle's pillars of persuasion is the foundation for having people believe the writer or speaker, which has to do with credibility and character or ethics (精神 jīngshén.)
What is ethos?
In the plot diagram, this part is for the events that happen immediately after the climax to prepare the story for the ending, including character reactions, resolving remaining sub-plot conflicts, revealing surprises, and giving answers to mysteries or puzzles.
What is falling action?
This is when the character is analyzed for the reason for existing.
What is/are the character's purpose(s)?
This type of paragraph sentences will explain and expand on the topic sentences, offering details and answering questions such as who, what, where, when, why, and how.
What are the paragraph's supportiing sentences?
阐述 / the part of the plot diagram that introduces the theme, setting, characters, mood, and “normal”, everyday life circumstances for this story’s world and is usually at the beginning of the story.
What is the exposition?
The reason why the character wants something/someone.
What is the motivation?
This portion of an argumentative / persuasive / opinion essay is written about second in a special fourth body paragraph (after stating one thing about the opposite opinion of the author’s opinion) and explains why that opposing point is incorrect or not suitable, thus creating a fourth point in favor of the author's argument / persuasion / opinion.
What is the refutation?
This is one of Aristotle's pillars of persuasion used by a writer or speaker to give a logical / rational argument (标志 biāozhì.)
What is logos?
结局 / the part of the plot diagram where the new “normal life” is shown, which contrasts with the exposition’s “normal life” that started the story
What is denouement?
This is when the story's author gives a lot of broad, vague information and then changes for a little while to giving exact, detailed information, often using sensory details and other highly descriptive information to add color and richness to the story.
