National Convention
- Held every other year at sites determined by Nationals (this year was held in Miami)
- Elect national officers
- Hears reports on the states of DKA
- Approves changes and makes recommendations on policies
- Any member is welcome to attend, however, only 1 resident and 1 graduate member can be the 2 voting delegates of each chapter
Conclave
- Happens during the off-convention-year that takes place in LA
- Discuss chapter and individual member achievements, fraternity issues and to visit DKA's founding sites
- Reunites with chapters from all over
- Anyone can attend

Coordinating Council vs National Council
Coordinating Council
- Coordinating council is composed of three representatives from both the Fraternity National Council and the Foundation Board of Trustees.
- Review reports from joint Fraternity/foundation committees and make recommendations to the respective boards.
- Serve as the standard planning committee for DKA.
National Council
- Made up of 6 graduate members who serve staggered six-year terms: National president, National VP, immediate past National President, the President of DKA foundation, additional representative from the foundation
- Directs the general affairs of the fraternity. It also has general control and supervision of the Fraternity between National conventions.
Graduate council vs Board of Governors vs House of Corporation
Graduate Council:
- All members of the chapter who graduated (or left w/ good standing)
- Nurture the aims + ideals of the Fraternity beyond college/provide support to Resident Council
- Establishes Board of Governors/House Corporation
Board of Governors:
- At least 3 Graduate Council volunteers + 2 Resident Council Officers who supervise all chapter finances and scholarship
- Responsible to National Council Supervisory body (Meets once a month)
House of Corporation:
- Legal entity incorporated to purchase, hold and maintain a chapter house
- Governed by a board of trustees or directors elected by the Graduate Council
