In this course, attendance is critical for meeting learning outcomes required to pass. Merely submitting assignments without attending class learning activities, even if assignments are within deadlines, is not enough

What is the late work policy?
Turn in assignments on time, but I also realize we are human. You can talk to me, but you can't be "talking" to me every time there is an assignment due. Without communication, there will be an automatic 10 point deduction prior to any grading I will do.

Just don't be a jerk!
Any disruptive or disrespectful actions that result in dismissal from the classroom may also warrant reporting to the Dean of Students for disciplinary action

What happens if you don't attend class on the first day and miss FDA (First Day Attendance)?
Students not attending the first class will be automatically dropped to make room for students trying to add in. If in doubt, ask me.
