Roles and Responsibilities
How will I support the students in my role?
Facilitating a team of executive volunteers to evaluate Club Registration, and budget proposals each semester.
Organizing and reviewing all Special Event Funding requests/applications.
How would I help with the adjustment to the Nest?
Provide training for new club presidents and assist with support through online zoom calls to assists with issues
I was a part of C&A in my second year!
I was a marketing and communications executive and I worked closely with the governance team to be abe to execute tasks effectively.
How will I support SU?
Meeting regularly with the AVP: Clubs and Associations as well as the Governance team to track and evaluate budget requests, appeals, and disciplinary measures.
Ensuring that all club constitutions align with Students` Union policies.
Collaborating with Brantford clubs and associations.
How would I support students to be aware of policies?
Providing office hours to be coordinated with the AVP and Marketing coordinator?
I have a great interest in policy!
I was the SRAC Coordinator last year and I have been able to review policies to help support students with their landlord or academic rights.
Why I would be the best candidate to achieve these roles and responsibilities?
I have great detail-oriented experiences and a great interest in policy!
I am familiar with C&A functions and Students' Union!
I am an incredibly interpersonal individual and I love meeting new people!
How will I promote the Brantford Campus?
Promote multi-campus fluidity! This can be achieved by ensuring that Brantford has the same opportunities as Waterloo campus to achieve full transparency.
