It's go time! The stage where you are put the work in to change the unwanted behavior
What is the Action Stage of Change
The ability to acknowledge the emotion that you are experiencing, instead of numbing or ignoring it
What is naming and claiming your feelings ** remember it is okay to have feelings, and even better when you express them to someone you trust to help. We are not robots, but humans with hearts**
The moment where thoughts and emotions can meet, but it is not required in order to make you react.
What is Behavior
The stage that you are in is trial and error to find what works best for you to change the unwanted behavior. As well as gather information and tools to set you up for a successful change

The moment when you are justifying/ rationalizing your idea(s) of returning to your old habits

The practice where you inhale for a course of 4 secs, you hold for 4 secs, you exhale for 4 secs, and you pause for 4 secs

What is the Maintenance stage of change
The moments where you start to neglect your self-care, isolate yourself, and have negative feelings towards your recovery goal, but doesn't quite have the thought of using drug of choice
