This is when a person swallows too many pills in the act of a suicide attempt.
What is drug overdose (overdose)
This is the responsible party to remove all ligature risks from the patients room prior to their arrival.
Who is the RNs, and Sitters, and PCTs.
Whoever is setting up the room.
This is what the provider will complete after they are notified of positive C-SSRS screen from the RN.
What is the DRA, as well as the ORL to document their Risk Score. (this can be different from the C-SSRS).
Note: if the Providers ORL score is different from the RNs C-SSRS score, the ORL score will be used as the source of truth.
This is when someone who is considering suicide can go from being sad, to being angry in a few seconds.
What is an extreme mood swing (mood swings)
This is how we can confirm that the Primary Registered Nurse Notified the Provider of the SI patient arrival to the unit.

This is when a person wraps a rope around their neck and jumps off an object (such as a chair) to try and choke themselves to death.
What is self hanging (hanging)
The patient MUST be placed in a particular type of gown, what is special about this gown?
What is, it will be paper, or it will have no ties on it.(prevention of ligature risks)
This is the risk level that requires line of sight or virtual PSA for observation.
This is the risk level that requires a PSA to be in place for 1:1 observation.
What is Moderate Risk
What is High Risk.
IF line of sight, or Virtual PSA is not available for a Moderate Risk SI patient. what do we do?

This is the result in school when the person who is thinking of committing suicide is only concentrating on suicide.

This is the intervention that the Primary RN must chart on EVERY SHIFT during an SI patient's LOS

This act of committing suicide is not very popular in the US or UK as opposed to Hong Kong, but still has a lethal rating of about 93%
What is jumping off high buildings
This is what needs to be done for the SI patients meal tray when they are admitted for SI.
What is, order needs to be changed to a "modified safety tray" in meditech. (prevent risk)

PSA MUST be relieved for lunch, and noted on Log with Lunch sitters initials and signature.
