3. The gemara says that if the walls are in a “כ” shaped arrangement, and one of the walls is a tefach, that is fine, as long as the other ones are long enough. It could be that the third wall needs a doorshape (צורת הפתח)

Has to be something which grows from the ground

What is special about Hoshana Rabba?
Hoshana Rabba is an official end to the din. It is treated as a semi-Yom Tov. We say full pesukei dzimra (except for nishmas) and we say many tefillos after hoshanos. It is a very very special day and should not be taken lightly
Is Shemini Atzeres considered a continuation of the 7 days of Sukkos, or is it a separate Yom Tov?
A separate Yom Tov.
Why do we have two days of Yom Tov outside of Eretz Yisrael?
Because of the concept of ספיקא דיומא. The Gemara describes this as אנן דלא ידעינן בקביעא דירחא. So it could be that the 15th is really the 14th. Therefore we observe two days of Yom Tov. There are some halachic differences between them.
In what kind of situation is a person patur/exempt from sitting in the sukkah?
If he is מצטער/in pain due to the Sukkah.
If it is raining to the point where the food is getting soaked and ruined

Do we shake lulav on shabbos, and why?
No - the Gemara explains in several places that it is a gezeirah that a person might realize he needs to ask a shailah about something and he will carry it four amos in reshus harabim.
What do shofar, lulav, and megillas esther have to do in common?
They cannot be done on shabbos - because a person might need help and will go ask a shailah and carry it 4 amos in reshus harabim
What is different about the Shemini Atzeres and Simchas Torah?
On Shemini Atzeres, we don't take the Lulav and Esrog and we don't eat in the Sukkah.
Why do we say full Hallel on all days of sukkos, but not pesach?
The Gemara in Arachin 10b says because each day of sukkos had its own separate korban. On pesach, all days of chol hamoed and the last day had the same korbanos
Are women obligated in Sukkah just like they are in shabbos and megillah, and why?
No - it is a מצות עשה שהזמן גרמא. By shabbos there is a limud in chazal. By megillah, the gemara says אף הן היו באותו הנס
What is unique about the first day of sukkos vs the other days, in terms of the lulav and esrog?
What mitzvah do we have for the entirety of sukkos, regardless of shabbos, or the weather?
