What is a leader sandwich? Why is it important?

Leader at the front of the line, leader at the back of the line. Important to make sure all kids are always in sight during transitions. Leader in the front needs to always be able to see leader in the back and vice versa.

NO. Inclusion leaders can only be responsible for their supported child.

1-up: starting farther away, change the object, throw sitting down, throwing with non-dominant hand, catching with one hand, etc.

1-down: Checkpoints to restart at instead of beginning, allow a bounce, change the object, bowl instead of throw

Your camp is outside on the field and you notice that there is lightning. What happens now?

Radio all camps that there is active lightning in the area. Move inside. Camps must stay inside until at least 30 minutes has elapsed since the last lightning strike. Office team will be monitoring lightning maps.

You are about to transition from PISE to the Park. What things do you need to do/bring?

Do: Bathroom run, fill water bottles, sunscreen, radio office to notify heading to park, headcount before leaving, leader sandwich

Bring: backpack (first aid kit, binder, phone), radio (on a leader and volume turned up), water bottles, Epi-pens if kids have allergies

Stop the kids running ahead and wait for the leader at the back to catch up to ensure everyone is together and accounted for. Do a quick headcount.
