You are on a nature walk up Radar hill and are the leader at the back. A child falls and scrapes themselves on a rock and needs first aid. After assessing the child, you look up and notice that the leader in the front is not visible. You have the camp radio, but not the other leaders phone number, and they have the first aid kit, camp backpack and binder with the staff contacts info. You have no way of contacting them, and you have 6/18 kids in your camp with you. What do you do?

Yell out for your co-leader to stop and come back.

Radio/call for support to come and help with ratios and first aid (Make it known that the camp is separated and you have a first aid issue!!)

Stay where you are and keep the kids with you

You are walking to the park and are the leader at the front of the line. The kids are all excited to get to the park and are running ahead. As you run to catch up with them, you realize you aren't able to see the leader at the back of the line. What do you do?

Stop the kids running ahead and wait for the leader at the back to catch up to ensure everyone is together and accounted for. Do a quick headcount.
