A camper starts choking and falls unconscious, what should you do next.
Call for a site supervisor, check for breathing, if the child is not breathing, ask a fellow counselor or SAV to find an AED and Call 911, and proceed to start CPR until the supervisor arrives.
How long are lunch breaks for counselors and SAVs? and where should you eat lunch?
30 minutes and counselors and SAVs should eat lunch either in the office, outside the office on the picnic tables, or even in your car. You should not be taking your breaks around campers!
You are missing a camper from your headcount while at a field trip, what is the following procedure?
Make sure one counselor stays with the group, Alert the site supervisor, follow lost camper protocol, have fellow counselors help you find lost camper, and ensure the remaining campers are safe.
