Similarities: Both countries have a lot of rice.  Both countries have a flat bread:  tortillas in Mexico and naan in Afghanistan.  Both countries have beans.   

Differences:  Afghanistan has mantou, but Mexico has enchiladas.   Afghanistan has bolani, but Mexico has tacos and quesadillas.

How is the geography of Syria and Afghanistan the same and different?

Both countries have beautiful rivers and mountains.  However, Syria has a coastline (yay beaches), but Afghanistan is landlocked (surrounded by land).

How are Dari and Spanish the same and different?

Dari and Spanish are both languages spoken on Earth. Believe it or not, both Dari and Spanish are part of the Indo-European language family. Dari is spoken in Afghanistan, but Spanish is spoken in Mexico, Central America, South America (except Brazil), and Spain.  Dari is written in a modified Arabic script, read from right to left, but Spanish uses the Latin alphabet, read from left to right.

Both are singers.  Tito Double P is from Mexico, but Aryana Sayeed is from Afghanistan.  Tito Double P sings in Spanish, but Aryana Sayeed sings in Dari, Pashto, Uzbek, and English.
