Every GSMST freshman is required to take these two science courses.
Chemistry and Physics
Students meet with this teacher twice a week for academic guidance, targeted lessons, and school activities.
Advisement Teacher
This is the biggest night of the year at GSMST.
International Night!
A student really needs help in one of their courses. This club offers free tutoring in ANY subject to all GSMST students.
NHS
Students can run for this club beginning in September. They organize Class v. Class, the Fall Dance, and many other events!
Student Council
This dual-block class is unique to GSMST and combines the best of two disciplines.
PhysEng
Students meet with this teacher approximately 3 days a week for study hall and academic enrichment.
Guided Study teacher
Instead of a homecoming dance, GSMST has this event.
Fall Dance
When elementary and middle schools have early release days, GSMST has these.
Cyber/Digital Learning Days
Students in this club can choose to work in FTC or VEX. It’s our most popular club.
Robotics
This special math course at GSMST condenses 2.5 years of math into one year!
GeoPrecal
GSMST has foreign language programs for German, Spanish, and Chinese. Name a foreign language teacher at GSMST.

We may not have football games, but we do have this sports event, held in the fall and spring.
Class v. Class
This takes place during Guided Study and helps freshmen get adjusted to GSMST by asking upperclassmen for advice and tips on how to succeed at GSMST.
Freshmen Mentoring
This club has a fierce rivalry with robotics and attends a yearly Student Leadership Conference in Athens. Go technodragons!
TSA
Every GSMST student is required to take this college-level math course in order to graduate.
AP Calculus (AB or BC)
This orchestra teacher has been with GSMST since its humble beginnings at another high school.
