What is the process when a customer is needing to paint their conduit?
Check to see if they are requesting this for personal aesthetics or if their Homeowner's Association (HOA) requires the painting.
If it is an HOA requirement that the conduit is painted and the customer has documentation:
Advise the customer to send the HOA letter stating the conduit needs to be painted to customercare@sunrun.com
Let the customer know they can hire a contractor to paint the conduit and send the receipt to customercare@sunrun.com for reimbursement.
Advise the customer will need to submit proof from the HOA and the receipt from the contractor in order to be reimbursed
If it is NOT an HOA requirement that the conduit is painted and the customer is requesting it for personal aesthetic reasons:
Advise the customer that they can perform (or hire someone to perform) the painting, but we cannot assist with the costs.
