These are the three character types embodied by Syrita in Superhuman.
What are protagonist, round, and dynamic?
Syrita is a protagonist because it is her story and she is the one telling it. Syrita is round because she shows many character traits such as compassion and charm while still having her rich life. She is dynamic because she goes from being stuck up and turns into somone who helps the poor.
Both stories use this #person pov. ex. first, third.
What is Third Person?
Both refer to everyone using pronouns and their names but not I.
This conflict type is shown through Eckels and Travis's frequent arguments in A Sound of Thunder.
What is person vs person?
Eckels and Travis have a power struggle which quickly becomes a conflict therefore, person vs. person.
This is the main theme in A Sound of Thunder.
What is small actions lead to big consequences?
In A Sound of Thunder Eckels steps on a butterfly and that changes the entire future of the world. This shows that the small action of stepping on a butterfly had big consequences.

Who is Eckels?
He is the protagonist because it is his story. During the story he has a realisation that everything that you do matters, making him dynamic and round.

What is Superhuman?
The story is told by the author as the narrator using the limited omnicient third person pov describing only the thoughts and feelings of Syrita.
The racism experienced by the characters Super Human is an example of this conflict type.
What is character vs. society?
X gets shot by the police just for being black just showing how racist the police and therefore the society is in the states. This situation causes him to lose his faith in humanity.
Though not the major theme in this story, "nothing is unimportant" is a big one.
What is A Sound of Thunder?
It is shown by the butterfly being stepped on which is a thing that you wouldn't think is important but when he stepped on it he changed the entire future of the world.
This setting in Superhuman is in the rough part of LA. The mood is a bit dangerous and gloomy. We don't really know what time it is. A lot of the story takes place here.
What is X's apartment?
While he is round and dynamic and can be considered an antagonist, X is predominantly this character type.
What is a protagonist?
X is a protagonist because the central conflict, character vs. a racist society, revolves around him and his experiences. Both X and Syrita can be considered co-protagonists because they share the spotlight. He is round because he is complex, showing compassion for others but also anger at the world. He is dynamic because he changes throughout the course of the narrative, starting hopeless and having an emotional awakening upon spending time with Syrita.
In both stories the author uses this type of third person POV.

Both stories being narrated by the author and only by one character.

The thing that is a conflict about the person versus nature is that is a conflict is that they can't step off path

Syrita talking to X is a small action that has positive big consequences. She succeeds in convincing him not to destroy the world.
The mood here at the beginning of A Sound of Thunder could be described as modern and robotic.

While being an important character to the plot of A Sound of Thunder Mr. Travis is these two character types.
What are flat and static?
Mr. Travis does not have more than one big character trait being that he serves the purpose to make Eckels aware of consequences and to provide order and control. He is static because he does not change throughout the course of the narrative, again he just serves the purpose of making Eckels aware of consequences.

What is character vs fate?
Eckels alters fate and time when he goes back in time which makes him have to deal with the consequences of his actions because he made a mistake that is beyond his power to fix.
A key theme of this story is that humanity must respect the natural world.

The story shows that is you dont respect the natural world it can have huge consequences such as destroying the entire future of the world.

Who are Mr. Travis and Syrita?
They are both trying to prevent someone from destroying the world. In Travis's case Eckels and in Syrita's case X.

This appears as X vs. self, his internal struggle to destroy the world or not. Syrita vs. self, she has an internal struggle as she is supposed to think X is a bad guy but she starts to understand him. Eckels vs. self, before and after killing the dinosaur, X struggles with fear and regret.
This theme in Superhuman is judgement based.
What is don't judge a book by its cover?
This theme is mostly shown through racism and the effects of it. The only reason that cop shot X was because he was black. This showed that when you do it can also have large consequences.
